RUBBISH and recycling collections will go on as normal over the bank holiday weekend.
Swindon Borough Council, unlike neighbouring local authorities, will continue collecting household and garden waste as its normal summer times over the Easter period.
Refuse bin and recycling will also be unaffected for the bank holiday on May 6.
Although it expects its household and recycling centre on the Cheney Manor industrial estate to be extra busy.
A Spokesman for Swindon Borough Council said: "Residents who sign up for our Garden Waste Collection Service can avoid queuing to drop off their garden waste.
"Go to the SBC website to learn about the exact HWRC opening hours, see the live queue buster camera feed and how you can use less and reuse and recycle more every day."
The live feed to check for queues and more information can be found at www.swindon.gov.uk/info/20015/bins_rubbish_and_recycling
