A pet care charity is asking for volunteers in Shrivenham to help walk a six-year-old Jack Rusell named Sox.
The Cinnamon Trust is a national charity which supports elderly and terminally ill people to look after their pets.
The charity says: "We seek to keep owner and pet together for as long as possible with the help of a national network of volunteers who assist when day to day care poses a problem."
The aim is for organisation to relieve owners of any worry concerning the welfare of their pets, both during and after their own lifetime.
Volunteers visit housebound owners to walk dogs, foster pets, visit the vets and even clean out cages or litter trays.
Anyone interested can email volunteer@cinnamon.org.uk
