The Newbury & District Agricultural Society is proud to announce that Clarence Court Eggs is the main headline sponsor for the Royal County of Berkshire 2019.

Continuing the theme of ‘new’ for 2019, Clarence Court Eggs will be the first headline sponsor for the Show.

First established in 1928 by Clarence Elliott who brought back jungle fowl from his travels in Patagonia. These rare breeds were then crossbred to create pedigree hens laying magnificent pastel coloured, hard-shelled eggs with deep golden yolks.

Clarence Court’s free-range Burford Brown and Cotswold Legbar’s eggs are the preferred choice for many homes, celebrity chefs and 5* hotels & cafés up and down the country but the full range of eggs is much more extensive and includes, Duck Goose & Quail as well as more exotic breeds such as Ostrich, Emu and Guinea Fowl.

Adrian Gott, Chief Executive Officer for Clarence Court Eggs commented “We’re incredibly proud to be sponsoring The Royal County of Berkshire Show which has a history in agriculture for longer than we have! We share the same passions for excellence in agriculture, using modern techniques and thinking with traditional values. The success of our business is dependent on the kind of people that NADAS work with to support rural communities and businesses and this is our opportunity to show our appreciation.”
Clarence Court will feature prominently throughout the Show, with visitors of all ages welcome to attend special cooking demonstrations, enter the ‘Bake A Clarence Court Cake’ competition and even compete in the Great Clarence Court Egg Race Challenge.

Patricia Marks, CEO of the Newbury & District Agricultural Society added, Clarence Court Eggs are a welcome new first-time headline sponsor for The Royal County of Berkshire Show and we are really ‘egg-cited’ to be working with them. This new partnership will help to ensure the 2019 Show is a real success and make our visitor experience event better.”
