A SWINDON pub is looking for someone to get paid for experiencing and reviewing pub events around the country.

The Brookhouse Farm Hungry Horse Hybrid on Middleleaze Drive will pay one lucky punter £2,000 to go on a Summer Sab-Bar-Tical attending a range of events and provide details and feedback to the pub's management.

This will help the management shape the pub's own summer events and entertainment programme.

General manager Thomas Gammon said: “Events are a great way to bring the community together and there’s nothing better than spending time with family and friends at your local pub, especially over the summer. That’s why we are creating an action-packed summer of events for locals, with help from our first ever official event tester.

“We’d love for someone from Swindon to be selected to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity. So, if you fancy attending pub events and sampling an exciting range of food and drink - all while getting paid to do so, then we want to hear from you”

Interested applicants should visit summer.greeneking.co.uk/sabbartical/before Sunday 9 June 9 explaining why they should be an event tester.

Other local pubs taking part include the Cold Harbour, Harvey, Merlin, Messenger, Woodlands Edge.
