THIEVES used a screwdriver to break into a Peugeot van parked outside B&Q.

Now, police have asked any drivers in the car park at the time who have dash cams installed in their vehicles to check their footage and get in touch with offers.

They said the Peugeot Partner van was broken into on June 13, while it was parked outside B&Q, off Great Western Way, on June 13 between 7.30pm and 8pm.

Writing on social media, Swindon North Police said: "During this time, a silver Ford Focus was parked up next to the van. A number of items, including a jacket, were stolen from inside the van, which was forced open with a screwdriver."

Anyone with information or dash cam footage has been asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
