AN online community for Swindon has reached thousands of local people in its first twelve months.
The Swindon Community Notice Board on Facebook achieved 9000 members on Monday, after only being set up in June 2018.
Creators Debra Collins and Graham Stobbs wanted to make a way of bringing the whole town together.
Mrs Collins said: "There were so many smaller groups in Swindon which only focused on a much smaller picture.
"If there was something happening in West Swindon, people in North Swindon wouldn't necessarily know about it and so on, the community Board has changed that," she added.
The notice board is a public group and features a wide range of groups, institutions, businesses and charities across Swindon.
"We are so proud of bringing the town together in a positive way and trying to give everyone information in one place," added Mrs Collins.
