A tipper truck driver has been given a 20 month ban after drink driving – while behind the wheel of his construction truck.
Nicholas Samways, 45, of Haycombe Drive, Bath, was picked up on the Brinkworth Road, near Wootton Bassett, on May 10. Tests showed the level of alcohol in his breath was more than twice the drink-drive limit.
He admitted the offence, was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
