TEN lucky Adver readers and their guests can look forward to a free day out at the Royal International Air Tattoo next weekend.

We teamed up with organisers of the world's largest military airshow, which starts on Friday and runs until July 21, to offer a competition prize of a pair of tickets each for its final day.

Hundreds of you posted entries and swamped our email inbox and we'd like to say a big thank you to everybody for taking part.

The 10 winners heading to RAF Fairford for some spectacular action in the skies next Sunday are: Marcia Belcher, Abbie Learoyd-Smith, Denise Woodger, Terry Poole, Joanne Macleod, Gail Mackenzie, Gary Seward, Amy Meaker, Debra Willcock and Jane Knight.

Having welcomed 185,000 visitors for the RAF centenary celebrations last year, the Gloucestershire base will host more than 28 military air teams and 20 different nations this time around.

This year the airshow is turning its spotlight to space to celebrate 50 years since the first moon landing on July 20, 1969.

Its theme, Air and Space: Inspiring the Next Generation Air Force looks at some of the ways organisations are reaching out into space and has attracted a host of innovative exhibitors, including Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems and astronaut Major Tim Peake.

Don't miss the Adver's unrivalled coverage – we'll be running a live blog with all the action, reaction and travel news throughout the weekend.
