Mayor Kevin Parry is hosting a quiz and curry night in honour of his two charities.
The event, being hosted at The Lalbagh in Rodbourne, will support the Swindon & North Wiltshire Deaf Children’s Society and Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Movement.
The on-the-door entry price is £20 per adult and £15 for children, but must be cash.
Entry grants access to a buffet curry and the quiz which will feature teams of six.
Alongside the curry and quiz, there will also be an auction and a raffle with all proceeds going towards the two charities.
Both the mayor and his wife, Barbara, will be at the event.
The two charities have recently benefited from Coun Parry’s fundraising after his appeal was boosted by a £650 donation from the students of Kingsdown School.
