EMMERDALE actress and keen crafter Julie Peasgood will cut the ribbon to open Make It! & More at Steam next month.
The star, who played Jo Steadman in the rural soap, has been a fan of the hobby since she was a child.
“We’re so delighted Julie Peasgood is able to join us to launch the show,” said co-organiser Jennie Rainsford. “We’ve been working together on a number of projects and it’s great to be able to welcome Julie to Swindon.”
The two day show brings together crafters and designers along with exhibitors selling a range of craft supplies, and a programme of craft workshops.
Admission is £2.50 in advance and £3.00 on the door. Children aged16 or under go for free. Book via the website at www.makeitandmore.co.uk
The craft, hobby and handmade show will be held on September 28 and 29.
