No applications have been made of confiscate a the pension of an officer of Wiltshire Police after conviction in the last three years.
A response has been made to a Freedom of Information Act request which asked how many times in the last three financial years 2016-19, the Police and Crime Commissioner applied for the forfeiture of a pension after conviction.
It also asked how many applications were granted and turned down, and why?
The answer is that no applications were made.
An officers pensions can be forfeit if they are convicted of a crime which significantly harms the police's standing or damage's public confidence in the force or treason or serious breaches of the Official Secrets Act.
