TICKETS are still available to purchase for Swindon Royal Air Forces Association annual ball.
On September 7, the Marriott Hotel will host the Battle of Britain Ball from 7pm.
Following the success of the RAFA ball last year marking the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force, the event has become a regular fixture on the calender.
Tickets are £50, and will include a three course meal, DJ and music from the RAF Association Concert Band.
There will also be the chance to walk up the red carpet outside, through a Guard of Honour provided by Swindon Air Cadets and music from 1244 Sqn Air Cadet band.
Dress is black tie, or mess dress and miniature medals or dress for the ladies.
All profits go to the Royal Air Forces Association Wings Appeal which supports serving and former serving RAF personnel and their families.
