Runner Jeff Finnie is running 20 half marathons in 20 months for The IBS Network.
Having been diagnosed with IBS five years ago, he will be running this year's Swindon half marathon along with six team mates.
"They're a great charity," said Jeff.
"My IBS is under control now by way of a very strict diet, overseen by a dietitian that was kindly generated for me by the network."
The challenge, which he started in January, will see him travel all round the UK to complete races in Gloucester, Sheffield and Frome, as well as to Lisbon and even America.
So far he has raised £1,072 for the charity.
Jeff ran the Swindon half marathon last year but suffered an IBS attack part way through.
