A MOTORCYCLIST died in a 'tragic' crash in rural South Oxfordshire yesterday.
The collision happened on the A4130 at Bix, near Henley, involving a blue Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle and a silver Ford Transit van.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses of the crash, which happened at about 1pm.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 49-year-old man, died at the scene.
He had been travelling from Henley towards Wallingford, while the van was being driven in the opposite direction.

Investigating officer PC Jim Lovell of the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit based at Three Mile Cross said: "Tragically, a man has died as a result of this collision.
"I am appealing to anybody that witnessed this collision to make contact with police.
"I am particularly keen to hear from anybody who was in the area and may have dash-cam footage of the collision to get in touch."
The motorcyclist's family have been informed and are being supported by trained officers.
