WANBOROUGH’S local pub The Plough Inn is celebrating its first year since it opened.
Melissa Sheridan with her business partners Steve Chittock and Kevin Wilkins took over The Plough Inn in the High Street last year.
Melissa, of Old Town said: “We want to bring back that local pub atmosphere to the community. Great ales, fantastic wines, locally sourced foods that’s freshly cooked and some old traditional games, we think is the way forward. Generating fun back to the community is really important.”
"We first opened last year in September and are now excited to be celebrating our first anniversary."
The Plough Inn is the first pub The MSJ Group took on and will be celebrating today with a hog roast and a bouncy castle.
After the success of this pub, Melissa took over The Sun Inn at Lydiard Millicent over the summer.
