Four arrests were made in the wake of Swindon Town's home defeat against Newport.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "The vast majority of football fans attended today's game to enjoy the match and didn't cause any trouble.

"However, there were a small number of people who caused low-level disorder in the town today.

"Three men aged 20, 26 and 34, all from Swindon, have been arrested on suspicion of public order offences.

"A 17-year-old boy from Caerphilly was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.

"All four are currently in custody at Gablecross Police Station."

Town lost the match by two goals.
