TOOTHILL: Driver Joe Moger, 37, of Edgington Close, admitted skipping a red light on the A4311 and twice driving two vehicles - a BMW and a VW Passatt - without insurance.

He was fined £1,260, his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points and he must pay £205 in costs and surcharge.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: A 15-year-old who assaulted another and was found with a knuckleduster has been given a four-month youth rehabilitation order.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was found with the knuckleduster on Wootton Bassett High Street on March 2 – the same day he beat another man.

He pleaded guilty to assault by beating and possession of an offensive weapon. His parents must pay £40 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

WALCOT: A teen broke into a Walcot community centre and did £400 of damage to its door and window.

The boy, 16, who cannot be named because of his age, admitted criminal damage at the Walcot Dome and trespass with intent to commit criminal damage.

Appearing before Swindon Youth Court, he was sentenced to a 10-month youth rehabilitation order and ordered to pay £200 compensation.

PENHILL: A 13-year-old boy who denies damaging four cars will stand trial. The Penhill teen is alleged to have damaged the bodywork of a Ford Focus, Citroen C1, Toyota Auris and Mini Clubman on a single day – June 6, 2019. He was granted unconditional bail to appear before Swindon Youth Court on November 21 for the trial.

OLD TOWN: A cannabis dealer has been given a nine-month youth rehabilitation order. The 17-year-old, who cannot be named as he is under 18, pleaded guilty to possession of the class B drug with intent to supply on October 26 last year. He was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

PARK SOUTH: A 13-year-old was sentenced to a three-month youth rehabilitation order after he admitted threatening behaviour likely to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, and assaulting a woman by beating. His mum must pay the £20 surcharge.

WILTSHIRE: A man who skipped a £2.80 rail fare and used threatening language while travelling on the railway has been ordered to pay £320 in fines.

Alex Graham, of Addison Road, Melksham, did not turn up to his hearing at Swindon Magistrates’ Court to answer charges he attempted to travel on the train at Westbury on June 20 without paying a £2.80 fare and that while on the railway used threatening, abusive, obscene or offensive language.

The charges were proved in his absence. He was fined £220 for the skipped fare, £100 for the poor behaviour, and told to pay £2.80 compensation to GWR and £190 in costs and surcharge.

WILTSHIRE: Hilperton woman Amber Livings, who skipped a £2.80 train fare to Trowbridge, was ordered to pay back 150 times that sum in fines.

The 23-year-old, of Sylvester Drive, had been due to appear before Swindon magistrates last week over accusations she attempted to travel on a GWR train at Trowbridge without paying the fare. But when she didn’t turn up to the hearing, magistrates deemed the charge proved in her absence. They fined her £440 and ordered she pay costs of £160, a £44 victim surcharge and £2.80 compensation to GWR.

SWINDON: Tariq Almultaji, 26, of Dollis Hill Lane, London, admitted being in possession of a Bluetooth device at the driving theory test centre in Swindon on three separate occasions in September and October 2017, with the device to be used in connection with fraudulently conducting theory tests. Magistrates bailed him to appear before Swindon Crown Court on October 25 for sentence.

SWINDON: Hussein Kalaf, 26, of Church Close, north west London, will be sentenced at the crown court after he admitted being in possession of a Bluetooth device at Swindon’s driving theory test centre for use in or in connection with a fraud.

TOWN CENTRE: Amir Hasan, 22, of Cross Street, was fined £307 after he pleaded guilty to driving his Vauxhall Vivaro without due care and attention on March 28. His licence was endorsed with five penalty points.
