TOOTHILL: Callum Aslantepe, 22, of Hexham Close, was sentenced to 300 hours of unpaid work for driving a Ford Focus dangerously on Mill Lane and Peglars Way on December 3, 2018.

He was banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay £170 in costs and victim surcharge.

NORTH SWINDON: Three men appeared before magistrates in connection with an affray on July 23 last year.

They indicated no pleas to the charges and the case was adjourned for a plea and trial preparation hearing at Swindon Crown Court on October 25.

Mason Murray, 19, of Warminster Avenue, has been charged with affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Kyle Rigley, 26, formerly of Selwood Close, is accused of affray, unlawful wounding and possession of 55 tablets of class C drug diazepam with intent to supply

A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named because he is under-18, has been charged with affray.

SWINDON: Caroline Fuller, 38, of Ripon Way, denies assaulting a police constable. She was granted unconditional bail for the trial on January 6.

SWINDON: Gim Gathu, 48, of Elmore Road, Bristol, pleaded not guilty to drink driving. It is alleged Gathu, said to have been driving along Great Western Way on August 25, had 87 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.

He was bailed for the trial on January 13.

SWINDON: A man accused of drink driving will stand trial on January 20. Kenneth Kamu, 36, of Hackleton Rise, was granted unconditional bail.

STRATTON: Steve Kerriganm, 33, of Swindon Road, admitted making 134 indecent images of children including 94 in the most serious category. He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court for sentence on October 25.

PARK NORTH: Joe Lakey, 22, of Tavistock Road, appeared before magistrates charged with burgling a house in Eldene on April 2. He was bailed for a plea and trial preparation hearing at Swindon Crown Court on October 25.

SWINDON: Lewis Badcock, 28, of Suffolk Street, has been charged jointly with Khalindra Perera, 18, of Maxey Close, with possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

Badcock has also been charged with possession of cash believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing. Perera faces a second cannabis supply charge.

They were bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on October 25 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

SWINDON: Jamie Baker, 19, of Welbeck Close, will face a judge on a charge he robbed a man of a mobile phone on March 23, 2018. He was bailed for a plea hearing at the crown court on October 25.

Co-defendant Anthony Bowels, 20, of Maidenhead, did not attend the hearing. Magistrates issued a warrant for his arrest.

OLD TOWN: Robert Hadden, 18, of Bath Road, was given a six-month conditional discharge after he pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He must pay a £20 victim surcharge.

SWINDON: Joshua Clarke, 20, of Vesta Close, admitted assaulting a police constable. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

HAYDON END: Gary James, 42, of Vistula Crescent, was fined £100 after he pleaded guilty to being in possession of 7.3g of cannabis in Frome, Somerset, on May 24. He must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

M4: Devender Kumar, 35, of Cwmrhydyceirw, near Swansea, admitted drink driving on the motorway. He had 72 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.

He was banned from driving for 40 months, fined £275 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

SWINDON: Charges were dropped against David Watkins-Rudman, 33, of Blackpool. He had been charged with driving a Citroen Picasso along Deerhurst Way in Swindon while he was subject to a ban and uninsured.

However, the offences were withdrawn.
