A MOTORCYCLIST suffered potentially life-changing injuries during a crash in Gorse Hill.
The 62-year-old man received a serious foot injury in a collision with a blue Vauxhall Meriva at the Gipsy Lane roundabout at around 7.10am today.
He was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol and is still recovering from what the police say are "potentially life-changing injuries". No-one else was injured.
Traffic queued as police blocked the road for around two hours to deal with the incident and officers are now appealing for witnesses.
Anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage which could assist with their enquiries should contact PC Mark Curle from Wiltshire Police’s roads policing unit on 101, quoting log 34 of October 7.
