SEVEN teens have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Ferndale.
The man, in his 50s, was said to have been chased from the underpass near the Oasis leisure centre to Ferndale Road on October 17. He was stabbed in the hip and the buttocks and was taken to Great Western Hospital for treatment.
Police said six Swindon men, aged 16, 16, 16, 17, 17, 18, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and have been released under investigation.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released with no further action.
A Wiltshire Police spokeswoman said: "Our investigation is ongoing and we would continue to urge anyone with information which could assist our enquiries to call Swindon CID on 101."
