Mayor Kevin Parry to unveil plaque at Swindon Central Library
A PLAQUE marking the achievements of Swindon Lions Club over five decades will be unveiled by mayor Kevin Parry.
The celebration will take place in the foyer of the Central Library in Regent Circus at 11am and also recognises a century of Lions Clubs International.
Swindon Lions Club club has raised thousands of pounds for local charities since it was founded in 1965. It has worked with the borough council and library to make the plaque possible.
