AN OLD Town man has been charged in connection with the theft of a charity tin from a McDonald's in Swindon
Wesley Auburn, 48, of Croft Road, has been charged with two counts of theft.
The charges relate to the alleged theft of a Poppy Appeal box from the McDonald's restaurant on Great Western Way on November 2 and laundry detergent from the Co-operative store in Sussex Place, Walcot, on November 7.
Auburn has been released on police bail to appear before Swindon Magistrates' Court on January 8.
