A Starbucks store in Melksham is hoping to collecting hundreds of presents for local children supported by Barnardo’s to open on Christmas morning.
The store, located on Commerce Way is collecting presents for vulnerable children, which will be distributed by the Barnardo’s team in the run up to Christmas.
Customers can pick a child’s name from the Christmas tree to buy a gift for, when they drop it back in Starbucks will give them a free festive drink as a thank you.
Leon Esfahani, managing director of the Starbucks franchise in Melksham, said “We are so proud to be supporting this amazing cause for the fourth year.
“Over the last four years we have collected over 5,000 presents for Barnardo’s children and we’re excited to see how many we can donate this year. The response from the public has been fantastic.”
The outlet is hoping to collect 2,000 presents from Melksham and its two outlets in Swindon.
