Park Library is encouraging everyone to get involved with The January Challenge 2020.

The library in Cavendish Square is the first in Swindon to be taking part in the initiative run by 64 Million Artists throughout this month.

The aim is to encourage those who don't normally think of themselves as creative to get involved in a series of artistic challenges.

Each day in January a different creative task is set for people to have a go at.

Activities only take five-ten minutes and include transforming photographs, creating finger print animals or recreating a favourite album cover.

All activities are free and participants can either keep their creation or leave it in the library for display.

The 64 Million Artists initiative supports collaboration between cultural organisations and local communities. It runs UK wide programmes to support and encourage people's creativity.
