A TEENAGER has been charged with possession of a knife after drug dealer was allegedly punched in the nose outside Swindon Crown Court.

Ryan Wheeler, 18, of Norcliffe Road, later appeared in the dock with a still-bloodied nose after the incident on Friday morning. He pleaded guilty to supplying crack cocaine to an undercover officer known as “Rob” on June 20 last year.

Wiltshire Police said officers had been called at 10.30am to reports of a fight outside the crown court. A spokeswoman said two men had fled the scene on a bike. One man was arrested.

Harry King, 18, of Roundway Down, Toothill, has been charged with possession of a knife in a public place. He is due before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on March 18.

A spokeswoman for the force said: “During the disturbance, an 18 year-old man was assaulted and suffered injuries to his face. Enquiries are ongoing. Any witnesses should call 101.”
