AN OLD Town man accused of murdering another in London is due before the Old Bailey this morning.
Michael Hyde, 28, of Mistletoe Court, on the Okus housing development, was charged last week with the murder of 29-year-old Leshawn Williams on December 21. Williams died shortly after 2am.
Police had been called to reports of a man being beaten with baseball bats and stabbed in Hanameel Street, east London.
Hyde was remanded in custody by Bromley magistrates on Friday. He is due before Judge Rebecca Poulet QC at the Old Bailey today.
