NEW College has been named as the top provider in Swindon and Cirencester for A Level progress.

The data was issued by the Government in the January 2020 school performance tables.

Progress score determine how much progress A Level students make between the end of Key Stage Four and the end of A Level studies.

New College achieved a progress score of 0.05, which is 0.03 points higher than the next best performing school in the area.

Deputy principal curriculum and quality Adam Fahey said: " These brilliant results are a testament to the hard work of our students and staff.

"Our aim at New College is to provide all our students with the skills, knowledge and behaviours which will enable them to progress and to thrive at the next level.

"We are proud of the contribution we continue to make to the lives of the young people of Swindon."

The College offers A-level students support and additional revision sessions.
