THE borough council issued advice on how to report power cuts, flooding and fallen trees caused by Storm Dennis.
-Find up-to-date information on council services at swindon.gov.uk/severeweather
-If you need to report any flooding, visit http://ow.ly/lg7650ymhjq
-The household waste recycling centre may experience disruption this weekend due to the high winds and may close at short notice. Check the tip cam at http://ow.ly/g8Rf50ymhjp
-If you spot a fallen tree, report it to us by calling 01793 445500 and the council will get to it as soon as possible.
-If your power goes out, call 105 for free to report or get information on power cuts in your area.
-Try to leave it as late as possible before putting your bins out for collection on Monday. When you do, weigh your bins down to avoid them blowing away.
-If your home has been damaged, don’t try to repair it until the storm has passed. More advice from The AA UK can be found here: http://ow.ly/LErF50ymhjr
-If you have any vulnerable neighbours, see if they need help before and after the storm.
