SWINDON: Wiltshire Police was given an extra six months to hold on to £1,250 seized from Yunis Sharif, of Marlowe Avenue, on January 23 on Rosebery Street, Broadgreen.

SWINDON: Melvin Chuaga, 25, of Northbourne Road, entered no pleas to charges of supplying heroin and possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and MDMA on October 11.

He was granted unconditional bail to appear before Swindon Crown Court on February 28.

PURTON: Thomas Fuller, 28, of Quarry Field, admitted possession of a steak knife in the Peatmoor Co-op store on October 19 and shoplifting two bottles of booze from the same shop on the same date.

He was bailed to February 28 to be sentenced at Swindon Magistrates’ Court.

ELDENE: Samantha Lamb, 33, of Bowleymead, has been charged with supplying crack cocaine and heroin to another on November 13.

She entered no pleas and was granted unconditional bail to appear before Swindon Crown Court on February 20 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

REDHOUSE: A bus driver denies driving carelessly on Millgrove Street last August.

It is alleged Laszlo Pflum, 55, of West End Road, Shrivenham, was behind the wheel of a 2012-plate Scania bus on August 23 when he hit another person – causing a bruised buttock and stomach.

Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court, the Hungarian pleaded not guilty to careless driving and failing to report an accident.

He was granted unconditional bail for the trial on May 14.

HANNINGTON: Giovani Sperti, 39, of Nell Hill, pleaded guilty to driving a Honda CR-V carelessly on Cricklade Road on June 26 last year.

He was fined £400, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £125 in costs and surcharge.

SWINDON: Philip Cheese, 57, of Bolingbroke Road, entered no pleas to defrauding his father out of £12,501.98 while acting as an attorney between November 2016 and November 2018.

He was granted unconditional bail for the plea and trial preparation hearing at Swindon Crown Court on February 28.

SWINDON: Jessica Innes, 22, of Colbert Park, pleaded guilty to drug driving a VW Urban on Swindon Road, Royal Wootton Bassett, last July. She had cocaine, bye-product benzoylecgonine and cannabis.

She was fined £120, banned from the roads for three years and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

RODBOURNE: David Lloyd, 43, of Rodbourne Road, admitted drink driving a Ford Transit on Great Western Way on November 30.

Breathalyser tests showed he had 53 microgrammes in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.

He was banned from driving for three years, fined £350 and must pay £120 in costs and surcharge.

BLUNSDON: Amber Mitchell, 26, of Garnet Crescent, admitted driving without insurance and drink driving a Renault Clio on Shaftesbury Avenue. She had 93 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

Magistrates imposed a 12 month community order with a six month alcohol rehabilitation requirement.

She was given a three year driving disqualification, fined £276 and ordered to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

CRICKLADE: Nicholas Morrissey, 57, of Cherry Tree Road, admitted stealing stainless steel from Alvan Blanch Development Co., Crudwell.

He was ordered to pay £810 compensation, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

WROUGHTON: Trevor Turk, 64, of Brimble Hill, pleaded guilt to being almost twice over the drink drive limit.

He was behind the wheel of a Honda Civic on November 30 when breath tests showed he had 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Turk was given a 17 month driving ban, fined £730 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £73 victim surcharge.

PINEHURST: Martine Browne, 39, of Beech Avenue, admitted common assault and assault by beating. She was bailed to appear before magistrates on February 27 for sentence. JPs ordered a pre-sentence report.
