A PENHILL man denies controlling and coercive behaviour and attacking his partner.
Appearing before Swindon Crown Court, Mohit Wadhwa, 35, of Alton Close, pleaded not guilty to a charge of controlling behaviour between 2015 and 2018 and four counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Judge Paul Cook bailed him for the trial on July 1. The trial is expected to last four days.
“If you plead guilty it’s entirely your choice but if you were to plead guilty the sooner you do so the more credit you receive for doing that,” the judge said.
Caighli Taylor appeared for the Crown, Don Tait for Wadhwa.
