STUDENTS who have gone on to make a name for themselves are sharing their inspiring stories on a new podcast.

Former Adver reporter Reece Chaplin is the presenter of the Inspired Thoughts Podcast, which launched in November last year. His first guest was the award-winning author from Swindon Steve Anthony, who has written and illustrated 16 children’s books.

And he’s interviewed Lauren Mill who has cerebral palsy and gives talks on living with the condition.

Reece, who lives in the town centre told the Adver: “Swindon College has so many people coming here that are inspirational and go on to doing great thing. It’s all about how we can help them to tell their story.

“Podcasts is the best way to share those stories, it’s the trend at the moment, it’s really blossoming.

“You get to see that side of someone not having much to being a world-famous author, it can be inspiring.

It ranked 226th podcast across the country and to listen you can tune in on Spotify, Apple and Amazon.
