I am a British music writer.
I am researching a book about Rod Stewart and the Faces, the band Rod was in when he first became famous with the hit ‘Maggie May’.
The Faces played the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester in March 1970 and Devizes Corn Exchange in July 1972.
I’d love to hear from anyone who was at either show and who cared to share their memories with me for a ‘people’s history’ of the band to be published later this year.
I can be reached at iwasatthatgig@gmail.com.
