ONE of two men arrested in relation to a hit and run in Rodbourne has been charged with attempted murder.
Police arrested Benjamin Danso-Obeng of Handel Street in Gorse Hill on Friday evening.
On Saturday, officers charged the 28-year-old with attempted murder. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court tomorrow.
A 26-year-old man from Enfield in London was arrested on Friday in relation to the hit-and-run before being released on conditional bail.
The incident happened at approximately 3.30pm on Friday March 6 outside The Dolphin pub in Rodbourne. The victim, a 26-year-old man, is in a critical condition at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
