A TEENAGER has been arrested after police dogs were called to reports of rogue moped riders in Park South.

Wiltshire Police said officers were called to Knowsley Road at 1.40am on Monday morning. When they got there the group fled.

A stolen moped was found in Sherwood Road shortly afterwards. A police dog led offers from where the moped was found to a nearby house.

A 15-year -old boy was arrested on suspicion of two counts of theft and breaching an anti-social behaviour injunction

Sgt James Neighbour from Swindon Community Policing Team said: "I hope this reassures the public that we are still out there carrying on with our local policing work as normal.

"We will not tolerate this type of criminality and anti-social behaviour, which we know causes upset and nuisance for those living in Swindon.
