A man accused of threatening to kill his ex-partner will face a crown court judge next month.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning, David Nurdin, 36, of Oatlands, Grange Park, pleaded not guilty to three counts of breaching a restraining order, harassment putting his ex in fear of violence and threatening to kill the woman.
Prosecutor Keith Ballinger said Nurdin was accused of sending a Facebook message threatening to kill his ex-partner of nine months. He is said to have written: “I’m going to get her, I’m going to f*** her up.”
An application for bail was made by defence solicitor John Lynch.
However, magistrates remanded Nurdin in custody. He is due to appear before Swindon Crown Court on April 22 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Nurdin was represented by John Lynch.
