In Captain Tom we have a national hero.
But our local heroes are right here in Rodmarton!
My husband and I wish to express our deep gratitude and thanks to Mrs Musty and all the staff at Rodmarton Primary School.
They have gone the extra mile in taking in our children (aged 4 and 6) when we are working our anaesthetic shifts at Great Western Hospital.
This would not be possible without their incredible support, including through the Easter and Bank holidays when many schools were not open, and Miss Stone’s opening school at 7.30am!
Looking after children of frontline workers in the current situation is not an easy decision to make.
We cannot find the words to express how much we appreciate everything the staff have done, and continue to do, for us and other families.
