South Swindon Parish Council is getting ready to host its first virtual meeting tonight.
The agenda for the meeting includes debate on borrowing funds for grounds maintenance.
A statement from the parish said: “The council has the power to hold virtual meetings as required and it is hoped to restore a full calendar of meetings when it is safe to do so.
“Where online meetings are held public attendance or participation must be requested in advance for security reasons.”
The meeting will take place at 6.30pm on Zoom. Any members of the public who would like to attend should email finance@southswindon-pc.gov.uk to request a link.
And any questions from the public must be submitted by midday via admin@southswindon-pc.gov.uk or phone 01793 312006.
