COUNSELLING service Willows marks its 30th anniversary this year.
Change is not something new for the company as it has been continually adapting in order to meet the changing needs of Swindon over the decades while its desire to serve the community with regards to adult mental health has remained constant.
From its Prospect Place centre, Willows provides one-to-one counselling, training qualifications for counsellors and workshops to support other professions, andprovision of training for local businesses and charities to support mental health.
Since the pandemic began, the company has adapted its services to provide counselling over the phone and online as well as transferring all training online.
The service's Facebook page featured personal stories from counsellors, supportive short videos, resources, self-care ideas, and worksheets to provide a sense of community and connectedness for those who are alone or struggling.
