A FULL council meeting is scheduled to take place virtually next week.
Earlier in the year, as the coronavirus lockdown was announced, Swindon Borough Council changed its constitution to allow decisions which needed to be taken or ratified by full council to be taken by a special committee of members.
That was chaired by the council leader David Renard and featured cabinet members and those of both the Labour and Liberal Democrat groups.
That committee only met once, in early May, and its business was mainly how to maintain the running of the council in lockdown.
Now, as many more of the authority's committees are meeting via the internet, a full council meeting has been called to start at 7pm on July 9.
The agenda for the meeting will be available on swindon.gov.uk from today.
A link will be available for members of the public to attend and ask questions.
Questions should be sent in writing to committeeservices@swindon.gov.uk by no later than 4pm on Tuesday, July 7.
