Swindon has the highest number of coronavirus cases per 100,000 people in the whole of the South West.
New data from Public Health England shows Swindon with a rate of 7.2 confirmed cases per 100,000 people as of the end of last week, July 18.
Swindon now ranks the 56th highest local authority of the 352 in England, Scotland and Wales for Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people.
The closest local authority to Swindon's number in the South West is East Devon with a rate of 4.1 cases.
Wiltshire has a rate of 1.6 with Gloucester having 2.3 and South Gloucestershire 1.4.
The highest rate in the country at the moment is Blackburn with 78.8 cases per 100,000 people.
Leicester, which recently went into a local lockdown, now has a rate of 77.9.
