A Swindon man will stand trial later this year over allegations he struck a young man.
Appearing before Swindon Crown Court via video link from HMP Bristol, Andrew Scott, 24, of County Road, pleaded not guilty to a single count of assault causing actual bodily harm. The assault is alleged to have taken place in Swindon between June 4 and 7 this year.
Judge Jason Taylor QC fixed the trial for November 23. He gave Scott usual warnings about the importance of attending his trial.
Simon Goodman appeared for the Crown Prosecution Service. Johan Grefstad represented the defendant.
