ART enthusiasts will get to pick up new pieces after a charity auction was rescheduled.

The fundraising event was originally meant to take place back in March but was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Now the auction has been rearranged to Tuesday at the Old Town Bowl in Swindon.

Mayor of Swindon, Garry Perkins will be in attendance, and all profits will be split between the NSPCC and CALM

The event has been organised by a local fundraising group called Swindon Business Cares for Children, which has raised an estimated £800,000 over the past 20 years.

Jeremy Holt is part of the group and says he is hoping people come out to support the event.

“This is going to be an incredible evening,” he said.

“We will be auctioning 30 artwork pictures which have all been generously donated by local and national artists including David Gentleman and Emma Stibbon.
