MORE than 1,200 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Swindon since the pandemic hit the UK.
The 15 new cases recorded between 9am on Saturday and 9am on Sunday bring the borough's total to 1,204.
The infection rate has risen again during the same period from 535.1 cases per 100,000 people to 541.9 cases per 100,000 people.
Five new cases confirmed in wider Wiltshire bring that total to 1,372, with a rate of infection of 274.4 cases per 100,000 people.
No new deaths have been recorded at Great Western Hospital in the last day, leaving the hospital's total number of patients who died after testing positive for the disease at 127.
