Pervert council worker's sick messages to 'woman'

A paedophile council worker took bubble bath and cider to a meeting with the 10-year-old “daughter” of a woman he met on a nudist website.

But the woman Michael Bamfield was chatting to was, in fact, an undercover police officer.

He admitted arranging the commission of a child sex offence and was jailed for two years and nine months.

Caught up in a knife fight

Jay Mapstone, 19, was given16 months in jail for his part in a zombie knife brawl and attacking officers at the police station after he was arrested.

Sending the heavily-convicted teen down, Judge Jason Taylor QC said: “You need to understand that if you keep behaving in this way then sentences will invariably be prison and they will get longer. Now’s the time to make the break.”

‘Bully’ attacked disabled man

Chantelle Hayward, 28, struck out at her diminutive victim as he scooted down Manchester Road. The court heard the incident started in an argument over alleged non-payment for an x-rated Facebook show.

Thug glassed his ex after Monopoly game

Richard Pullen, 45, was jailed for 10 months after he admitted attacking his ex. He’d thrown a glass bottle at her and refused to let her leave his flat when she said she wanted to return to her daughter’s home.

Jailing the Royal Wootton Bassett man, Judge Peter Crabtree blasted the thug: “She should have been treated with respect. Your behaviour on that night fell a long way from that.”

Attacker took wallet and keys

Bryan Chubb outside Swindon Crown Court

Bryan Chubb, 39, attacked a drunk man walking home from a night out, taking his wallet and keys. His girlfriend, Nina Austin, had earlier distracted the man by asking him to roll up a cigarette.

He admitted ABH, theft from the person, shoplifting and fraud by false representation. He was jailed for 18 months.

Drug dealer jailed for almost three years

Jake Bell, 30, of Curtis Street, was sentenced to two years and eight months imprisonment at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.

At an earlier hearing he admitted possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin on April 23 last year.
