A man has been charged following a brawl in North Swindon on Sunday.
Four people were initially arrested following a number of 999 calls to the Eglantyne Avenue area at approximately 8.30am.
A group of five were seen fighting in the street and nearby William Morris Avenue. Witnesses say they saw a blade.
Daniel Webdell, 33, of Groves Street, Swindon, has been charged with breaking or being likely to break bail conditions. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court yesterday morning.
And he has been charged with possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place. For this offence, he is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on January 20, 2021.
Three other people arrested in connection with the incident have since been released under investigation.
Police are continuing to carry out enquiries. Any witnesses or anyone else with information who has not yet spoken to the police should call 101.
