POLICE arrested a woman and seized Class A and B drugs while carrying out two warrants in Moredon.
Officers took a 45-year-old woman into custody after arresting her on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. She’s currently in custody at Gablecross Police Station for questioning.
They gave a 25-year-old man a warning for cannabis. While at the two properties on Friday morning, they seized drugs and mobile phones.
This followed on from two previous warrants on Thursday which led to the arrest of a 17-year-old for class A drug offences
PC Beth Vinnicombe said: “Again, these warrants were conducted as a result of police enquiries and community intelligence which helps us tackle drug activity in our community.
"It’s really important that the public continue to report their concerns or suspicions to us as drugs and the violence and anti social behaviour which is often associated with it can really blight a neighbourhood.”
