M4: Reginald Fogarty, 44, of Brecon Street, Cardiff, admitted speeding on the M4 near Swindon in his Kia Ceed on April 5, 2020. He was fined £504, given six points and ordered to pay £135 in costs and surcharge.

M4: David Green, 55, of Binfield, near Bracknell, pleaded guilty to speeding on the M4 near Swindon on March 6, 2020. He was driving a Range Rover Vogue. He was fined £1,100, must pay £155 in costs and surcharge and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

A419: Kate Chapman, 52, of Downs View, Royal Wootton Bassett, admitted possession of a Stanley knife on the A419 on November 9, 2019. She was sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment suspended for a year. She must complete up to 25 rehabilitation activity days and pay a £122 victim surcharge.

PARK NORTH: Stephen Bull, 63, of Dulverton Avenue, pleaded guilty to careless driving, failing to stop at the scene of an accident in the Fox and Hounds pub car park on August 23, 2019, and failing to report an accident. The Hyundai driver damaged the rear bumper of an Audi A4.

He was fined £260 and must pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with five penalty points.

PARK SOUTH: Roy Slack, 25, of Crosswood Road, Park South, admitted assaulting a man by beating him on July 27, 2019. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation.

DORCAN: Jeremy Guyatt, 52, of Blunsdon Road, pleaded guilty to drink driving. He was behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Astra in Dorcan Way on February 27, 2020, when tests later showed he had 114 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.

He was given a 12 month community order and must complete 120 hours of unpaid work, pay £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge. He was banned from driving for 25 months.

WROUGHTON: Steven Hamer, 29, of Coronation Road, admitted failing to stop for police on the Ridgeway on February 29, 2020, drink driving and possession of cocaine. He was driving a Land Rover Discovery when tests later showed he had 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

He was banned from driving for 16 months and must pay a total of £917 in fines, court costs and victim surcharge.

WILTSHIRE: Police were given another five months to keep hold of £1,500 cash seized from Croydon man Raf Amankwaa-Owusu at a house in Trowbridge on May 27, 2020.

Separately, magistrates signed-off an application that £6,000 cash seized from Dennis Obasi at his home in Uhura Square, Hackney, in April, could be kept by police for another five months.

PINEHURST: Rhiannon Gleed, 19, of Whitworth Road, pleaded guilty to damaging a door. She was ordered to pay £490 in compensation and £85 costs.

PARK SOUTH: Jason Clarke, 28, of Parkstone Walk, admitted disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He was fined £93 and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

SWINDON: Beau Houghton, 43, of Godolphin Close, pleaded guilty to attempting to steal a charity box from Subway on December 5 last year, assaulting a woman on the same date, stealing a Samsung mobile phone on January 24, 2020, fencing four bottles of Gordons gin in July and stealing a woman’s hanging baskets.

He was given a 12 month community order with an alcohol rehabilitation treatment requirement. He must pay £95 in compensation.

SWINDON: Kevin Kiarie, 26, of Bassett Road, Oxford, entered no pleas to allegations he intended to pervert the course of justice by giving false details, that he drove a VW Golf on the A420 carelessly, without insurance or a licence and was in possession of cannabis. He was bailed for the plea and trial preparation hearing on October 23 at Swindon Crown Court.

SWINDON: Andy Dobson, 30, of Elizabeth Avenue, Newbury, pleaded guilty to stalking a woman in Swindon between May and August. He was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment suspended for 18 months. He must do 14 rehabilitation days. A restraining order bans him from contacting the woman or coming to Swindon until March 22, 2022. He must pay £85 costs and a £122 victim surcharge.

SWINDON: Amir Fereidouni, 41, of Queens Drive, admitted being in possession of a large kitchen knife in a public place without reasonable excuse. He received an 18 month community order, was fined £120 and must pay £175 in costs and surcharge.

WEST SWINDON: Simon Heath, 32, of Mansfield, Notts, was jailed for six months after he pleaded guilty to possession of a folding knife in Shaw village centre on February 5 and assaulting a police officer on the same date. He must pay a £128 victim surcharge.

PARK SOUTH: Kendell Bradbury, 19, of Davenham Close, admitted taking a Ford Fiesta without consent and causing an accident – damaging a Volvo V50 and Honda Jazz. He was given a 12 month community order with 160 hours of unpaid work, ordered to pay £175 in costs and surcharge and banned from driving for 12 months.

Zenon Bradbury, 18, of Melksham Close, Penhill, pleaded guilty to allowing himself to be carried in a vehicle he knew to have been taken without consent. He must perform 140 hours of unpaid work, pay £175 in costs and surcharge and was given a 12 month roads ban.
