There’s still time to join a taster session with Swindon’s own American football club.
Swindon Storm is holding an open morning on Southbrook playing fields on Pinehurst Road, for anyone over the age of 13.
The second of three two-hour trial sessions takes place this Sunday.
Swindon Storm has three teams for ages 13-16 (5v5 Youth) 16-19 (9v9 Juniors) and adults over 18.
Adrian Mees, head coach for the 16-19 year-olds said: “Our sport is incredibly inclusive.
“There are different positions which suit people with different skills.”
Anyone wanting to take part is encouraged to wear sports kit and studded boots for training outside on grass as well as a water bottle.
All sessions will be Covid 19 compliant and places must be booked in advance. Under 18s sessions are free and start at 10am (eventbrite.co.uk/e/124282176335). Over 18s sessions are £5 and start at 11am (eventbrite.co.uk/e/124288390923).
