Volunteers planted more than a thousand bulbs to improve open spaces in West Swindon.
The group planted 1,100 bulbs in Westlea Park as part of the Clean and Green program, an initiative set up by the West Swindon Parish Council in 2018.
Coun Suresh Gattapur said: “It is important to consider the mental well-being aspect in being close to nature, in the spring and summer, the seeds of our hard work come to fruition to be enjoyed by thousands of residents as they go for walks.
“Especially after the year everyone has endured, it is something to give back to the community and put a smile on their face.”
