A NEW and rather unusual BBC iPlayer advert shows thousands of versions of Kerry Mucklowe from hit sitcom This Country at the County Ground.
As 15,728 of the Swindon Town-supporting cloned comedy characters cheer the team on, an announcement over the tannoy from Kerry's mum tells her that dinner is ready.
Suddenly, a giant version of Masterchef presenter Gregg Wallace looms over the pitch and asks 'Did someone say dinner?' before smashing a spoon into the stands.
He brings the spoonful of Mucklowes to his mouth as they scream, wriggle and shout 'Why, Greg?' before the ad ends.
Yes, it's as weird and nightmarish as it sounds.
The bizarre short promotes BBC iPlayer, which has FA Cup matches available to view live and on demand.
